To increase the connection with the traveler and to respond to rapidly changing mobility, we were asked to design the new app of 9292. The challenge of this assignment was to create an app that appealed to every traveler: young and old, experienced and inexperienced, with and without disabilities.
We designed the icons in a continuous movement. Traveling is not standing still. In addition, this made it possible to best represent the diversity in transport.
It was very important that it was intuitive to use. In order to make the app a national success we knew it should get you from A to B as quickly as possible, without distractions, and in an understandable way. With it now downloaded on millions of phones, and used every day, we’re pretty sure it’s a success.
